The 2027 KTM 50 SX is KTMs premier entry-level motocross machine designed for young racers ready to transition from beginner trail bikes into true competition riding. Built around a lightweight chromoly steel frame and powered by a high-performance 49.9cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine, the 50 SX delivers sharp throttle response, race-focused suspension, and the aggressive READY TO RACE styling found across KTMs full-size SX lineup. With its automatic centrifugal clutch and single-speed transmission, the bike allows young riders to focus on cornering, jumping, and throttle control without worrying about shifting gears.
The 2027 model continues KTMs reputation for dominating the youth motocross segment with premium components rarely found in mini bikes. It features fully adjustable WP XACT suspension, hydraulic Formula disc brakes, lightweight black anodized wheels, and improved durability throughout the chassis and intake system. Weighing just 43.5 kg (95.9 lbs) without fuel, the KTM 50 SX is engineered for responsive handling and confidence on motocross tracks while remaining manageable for developing riders.
